AND GOD HELP YOU!

When hard times come, i often cling to the promise that God won't give me more than i can bear (1 cor 10:13). For David though, it looks like God has given him more than he can bear. He had defeated the occasional Lion and Bear (which doesn't seem that small really), and now he is thinking he can take on a giant?? Once again i think of my own life. I've gotten through the small stuff. I've learned how to defeat the small things. I've won small battles. But David taught me something this morning...or maybe it was God. It was like God whispered in my ear, "No! Don't measure your battles against your size...measure them against MINE." So i'll look to the one who walks on the waves, instead of the raging waters. And i'll rest in knowing that His SIZE is all that matters.
