WHEN TRUSTING GOD IS A HANDFUL
1 Kings 17:7-16
I hadn't read this story since i was really little. It's one of those ones i vaguely remember hearing in sunday school but haven't really thought about in years.
I love this story. It has some big lessons for real life.
My favorite question was, "How do you think the widow felt every time she put her hand in the jar and there was another handful of flour?"
I'd say she felt: relieved, grateful, encouraged, and hopeful.
But how did she feel just before she put her hand in the jar?
...Empty? Unsure?
Today, trusting God was a handful. But sometimes a handfuls are good things.
