The biggest thing that stuck out to me was how "Haman stood there pleading with Queen Esther for his life...groveling at the couch on which Esther reclined." And i don't know why this bothered me so much, but i couldn't get past it. I almost felt sorry for the guy. Weird, huh? I know he sinned big time, but it just seems harsh to hang him on the spot.
I don't think i'd make a good judge.

I felt the same way! It would be impossible for me to decide that someone is past reform, or New Testament, past the point of grace.
ReplyDeleteBut then it's tricky; if I saw Osama Bin Laden on the street I'd kill him at chance. Or... want someone to. So. Things get hairy.
