MY HOLY NAME
Leviticus 22:1-8
So God is giving some instructions here about how to "treat the holy offerings." He gives a whole list of things and then after each paragraph he says, "I am God. As i was reading this i started to wonder what it would look like if God always did that. If after every command, every instruction, and every word of advise, he said, "i am God."
Or what if i started to end every journal entry with, "God is God." I think it would change things a bit. Because i've been noticing something lately. I like control. I like my safe little controlled life. But God is God.
As someone wise told me today: "one of the hardest things we're ever asked to do is TRUST."
(sorry, i wandered a bit from the main idea of the passage...oh well.)
