GOD is in charge of human life,
watching and examining us inside and out.
Love and truth form a good leader;
sound leadership is founded on loving integrity.
Proverbs 20:27-28
These two verses led me to think about the nursing home. Three residents have died in the past week. Two of them were on my hall, and i used to sit with one of them when i had free time at the end of the shift. It's strange and hard to think that i'll never see them again...but God is in charge of human life. He knows what's going on inside: in our souls, and what's going on outside: in our bodies. Spiritual and physical.
The second verse reminded me of a certain nurse. I love this nurse...she's soo nice and helpful and encouraging, and we get along great. She's loving. But unfortunately, she does not have integrity. She will lie about things so that we (the CNA's) don't have as much work to do.
I want to be a nurse who has love AND truth. (Sarah, it reminds me of when we did that study on Grace and Truth...remember?). I don't see myself as a good leader, but I'm encouraged to know that with Love and Truth i can be.
